On Friday, 29 April 2022, in the evening at 17:19, in Kretingos district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Palanga main road (kilometre 135), a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 530 D registered in Germany, a Ford Galaxy and a Toyota Yaris. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the BMW (6 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober.
