Toyota Yaris hits an obstacle on the Molėtai–Anykščiai road
On Saturday, 11 June 2022, in the evening at around 22:00, in Anykščių district municipality, Linksmakalnio village, on the Molėtai–Anykščiai national road (kilometre 23.10), a Toyota Yaris hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Toyota (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
