Hit-and-run truck driver in crash with Hyundai in Ūtos village
On Saturday, 18 June 2022, at night at 23:25, in Panevėžio district municipality, Ūtos village, on Baltijos Kelio street near No. 33, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a truck and a Hyundai Santa FE registered in Latvia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
