On Sunday, 26 June 2022, in the evening at 20:03, in Biržų district municipality, on the Užubaliai–Pačeriaukštė–Toliūnai regional road (kilometre 1.90), a Scania R420 registered in Latvia rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Scania (44 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.32‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
