On Monday, 27 June 2022, in the morning at 10:30, in Kaunas, on Raudondvario pl. near No. 127, an Opel Meriva hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 14-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 83-year-old driver of the Opel (29 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
