Scania truck hits a parked DAF truck on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Thursday, 7 July 2022, in the afternoon at 11:34, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 66.88), a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Scania, a Krone SD, a DAF FT XF105.460 and a Nooteboom OVB-48 W. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Scania (25 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. The driver was sober.
