On Friday, 22 July 2022, at night at 23:10, in Raseinių district municipality, Pikelių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 203), at a gas station, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Krone - and a Scania R420. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Scania (3 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
