On Wednesday, 27 July 2022, in the afternoon at 15:30, in Širvintų district municipality, Kiemelių village, on the Zibalai–Šešuolėliai I regional road (kilometre 4.09), a Seat Leon rolled over. One person died — the 63-year-old driver of the Seat (was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 63-year-old driver of the Seat, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
