On Friday, 29 July 2022, in the evening at 21:18, in Klaipėda, on Šilutės pl. near No. 26A, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and a Mazda 6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
