On Wednesday, 7 September 2022, in the evening at 20:10, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 255, a Seat Toledo hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Seat, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.49‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
