On Friday, 11 November 2022, in the morning at 7:30, in Šilutės district municipality, on H. Šojaus street near No. 10, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 313 CDI and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (15 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
