On Monday, 13 February 2023, in the afternoon at 16:34, in Kauno city municipality, on Taikos pr. near No. 116M, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a Skoda Octavia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Opel, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.21‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
