On Saturday, 8 April 2023, at night at 0:44, in Kaunas, on Šv. Gertrūdos street near No. 19, a BMW 330D hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.63‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
