On Tuesday, 2 May 2023, in the evening at 19:17, in Kaunas, on Žemaičių pl. near No. 37, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz GL 320 and a VAN Hool. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
