On Sunday, 28 May 2023, in the evening at around 17:00, in Šiauliai, on Aido street near No. 8, a Jaguar XF hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Jaguar (17 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.16‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
