On Saturday, 3 June 2023, in the afternoon at 12:29, in Panevėžys, on Gėlainių street near No. 72, a Citroen C8 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Citroen (34 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.47‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
