On Saturday, 1 July 2023, in the evening at 19:52, in Prienų district municipality, Antakalnio village, on Vingio street near No. 155, a vehicle hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of a vehicle, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.78‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
