DAF truck rolls over in Vantainių village
On Tuesday, 10 October 2023, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, Vantainių village, on the Krakės–Dovydiškiai–Grinkiškis regional road (kilometre 3.87), a DAF rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the DAF (11 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 80 km/h.
