On Saturday, 11 November 2023, in the morning at 10:02, in Kretingos district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Palanga (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 134.50), a BMW 525 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
