On Sunday, 3 December 2023, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kretingos district municipality, on Vynuogių street near No. 39, at the junction with Gamtos street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a BMW X5 3.0D and an Opel Astra Station Wagon. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the BMW (27 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
