On Saturday, 27 January 2024, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Raseinių district municipality, Norgėlų village, on Akacijų street, a Volvo XC60 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 39-year-old pedestrian, who was walking on the carriageway where prohibited. She was drunk (1.18‰ blood alcohol). The driver was sober.
