Drunk Chevrolet driver in crash with Volvo on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Thursday, 22 February 2024, in the evening at 18:30, in Kauno district municipality, Sausinės village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 107), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Chevrolet (26 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.40‰ blood alcohol).
