On Saturday, 30 March 2024, in the evening at around 19:00, in Jurbarko district municipality, Rutkiškių village, on Alytaus street near No. 11, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 407 and a Porsche. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
