On Saturday, 6 April 2024, in the evening at 19:48, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Slengių village, on Nemerkiemio street near No. 1, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Citroen C1 and a Mercedes-Benz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Citroen (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
