On Thursday, 11 April 2024, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Tauragės district municipality, Dauglaukio village, on the Vališkiai–Kuisiai regional road (kilometre 6), a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a Nissan Pathfinder and a bicycle. One person was injured — a 39-year-old cyclist (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 67-year-old driver of the Nissan (45 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. Both drivers were sober.
