On Saturday, 13 April 2024, in the evening at 18:33, in Vilnius, on Justiniškių street near No. 10, a Toyota Prius hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Toyota (26 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
