On Sunday, 14 April 2024, at night at 2:18, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Antkopčio village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 278), a BMW hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
