On Sunday, 12 May 2024, in the afternoon at 11:15, in Klaipėda, on Taikos pr. near No. 61, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Megane Scenic and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was under the influence of psychoactive substances, had no driving licence and fled the scene.
