On Sunday, 12 May 2024, in the afternoon at 13:05, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 266, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 318i and a Mercedes-Benz Classe E. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the BMW, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
