On Thursday, 16 May 2024, in the evening at around 17:00, in Pasvalio district municipality, Balčiūniškio village, a Seat Alhambra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Seat, who failed to choose a safe speed. She had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
