Drunk Gilera moped driver hits a parked Lexus on the Jonava–Kėdainiai–Šeduva road
On Saturday, 18 May 2024, in the evening at 17:10, in Kėdainių district municipality, Kudžionių village, on the Jonava–Kėdainiai–Šeduva national road (kilometre 50), a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Gilera Runner 50 and a Lexus. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 15-year-old driver of the Gilera (1 year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (0.47‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
