On Friday, 14 June 2024, at night at 3:48, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 21.25), a BMW 3ER Reihe ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
