On Monday, 24 June 2024, in the evening at 19:40, in Anykščių district municipality, on J. Biliūno street near No. 13, a BMW 525 D hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the BMW (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (1.16‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
