On Wednesday, 10 July 2024, in the evening at 20:15, in Vilnius, on Lentvario street near No. 61A, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 528 and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.71‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
