On Sunday, 21 July 2024, at night at around 23:00, in Kaunas, on J. Bielinio street near No. 13, an Audi A3 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.52‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
