On Monday, 22 July 2024, in the morning at 8:56, in Jonavos district municipality, Svilonėlių village, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 20), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. Two people were injured — a 61-year-old passenger of the Seat (treated as an outpatient) and a 91-year-old passenger of the Seat (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of a truck (16 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober.
