On Saturday, 27 July 2024, in the evening at 20:50, in Anykščių district municipality, Pajuosčio farmstead, a Yamaha XJ 600 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Yamaha, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.38‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
