On Monday, 29 July 2024, in the evening at 19:30, in Druskininkų municipality, Neravų village, on Sodžiaus street near No. 19C, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Toyota Corolla Verso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Toyota (14 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (3.62‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
