On Friday, 2 August 2024, in the evening at 20:30, in Pasvalio district municipality, Kiemelių village, on Girniūnų street, at the junction with Smėlio street, an Audi A5 Sportback registered in Norway ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Audi (18 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She fled the scene.
