Unlicensed Peugeot moped driver in crash with Yamaha moped in Antringio village
On Sunday, 4 August 2024, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Raseinių district municipality, Antringio village, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot Speedfight and a Yamaha. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 15-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
