On Monday, 5 August 2024, in the evening at 22:30, in Šiaulių district municipality, on Paežerių street, at the junction with Durpynų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Citroen C5 and a Volkswagen Tiguan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 64-year-old driver of the Citroen, who failed to keep a safe distance.
