On Tuesday, 27 August 2024, in the evening at 17:10, in Klaipėda, on Šilutės pl. near No. 19, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Avensis and an Opel Zafira. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 68-year-old driver of the Toyota (26 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
