On Tuesday, 17 September 2024, in the evening at 19:21, in Vilnius, on S. Žukausko street near No. 4, a Mercedes-Benz hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 8-year-old pedestrian, who committed sudden emergence from behind a vehicle, tree, etc.. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
