On Friday, 27 September 2024, in the morning at 7:53, in Jonavos district municipality, on Chemikų street near No. 2, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 206 and a Toyota Auris. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 76-year-old driver of the Peugeot (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
