On Sunday, 13 October 2024, at night at 2:23, in Kaunas, on Ateities pl., a car hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of a car, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.20‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
