On Wednesday, 6 November 2024, in the afternoon at 16:18, in Vilnius, on Metalo street near No. 4B, a BMW ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. She had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
