On Saturday, 16 November 2024, at night at 23:50, in Molėtų district municipality, on the Ukmergė–Molėtai national road (kilometre 41), a Toyota Avensis ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Toyota (25 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
