On Friday, 15 November 2024, in the morning at 8:03, in Kaunas, on Jonavos street near No. 43, at a public-transport stop, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vivaro and a MAN. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
