Drunk, unlicensed Audi Allroad driver runs off the road in Tatkonių village
On Wednesday, 29 January 2025, at night at 0:30, in Kupiškio district municipality, Tatkonių village, on the Naiviai–Tatkonys regional road (kilometre 2.50), an Audi Allroad ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to keep a safe distance. She was drunk (0.81‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
