On Saturday, 15 February 2025, in the evening at 18:41, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Slengių village, on Smeltaitės street near No. 20, a Peugeot Partner hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Peugeot (20 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties.
